Common sense of lightning protection for walkie-talkie base stations
Modern lightning protection has three main lines of defense:
First of all, the external protection will lead most of the lightning current directly into the ground to dissipate;
Secondly, internal protection, that is, blocking the equipment along the power line, data line, and signal line from intruding waves;
Finally, overvoltage protection limits the amplitude of lightning overvoltage on the protected equipment.
These three lines of defense cooperate with each other, each fulfilling its duties, and one is indispensable.
